Myself and now husband Rob, met 7 years ago in 2010 – he was our local postman. Rob proposed whilst we were travelling in Thailand, a ring placed in a heart shape made from palm leaves on a secluded beach.

Story
I met David in May 2001 in London, we got engaged on New Years Eve in 2002 in Cardiff and we married in 2004 at The Falcondale.

The Venue
I was brought up in Lampeter therefore I wanted somewhere that was close to home. The Falcondale is in a beautiful setting and is well known for hosting great weddings, as it is not part of a chain you receive very personal service which is wonderful. My brother had his wedding at The Falcondale and my grandparents used to live on Falcondale Drive so the hotel holds sentimental value and wonderful childhood memories.
The Food
We enjoyed canapes as our guests arrived to the hotel followed by a traditional chicken roast dinner. There was bacon rolls later on in the evening which the guests really enjoyed.
The Dress
My dress was from House of Emmanuel in Cross Hands.
The Decorations
We kept the decoration very simple with no theme as such, just beautiful flowers as table centres.

The flowers were done by a family friend and they were just beautiful.

We me in August 2001, have been together 16 years now. I proposed to Gethin on Valentines Day 2014. I bought a Thorntons chocolate heart with ‘will you marry me’ written on it.

Jamie and I met through a mutual friend of ours, after a few drinks, a few laughs, we became inseparable. After going to The Algarve for my sister’s hen do Jamie proposed at home as soon as I’d got back. (Apparently, he just couldn’t wait to ask!)
Chloe and Huw
Huw and I met 8 years ago at our family home as he was friends with my brother. Immediately I knew we would be together! During my pregnancy with our first son he proposed one evening over dinner, I was ecstatic!
