We had a two-night break here. Our room was enormous, well equipped for all our needs, and gorgeous views across the gardens and fields beyond. We had an afternoon tea on arrival which was delicious and almost too much (I did say almost!). Breakfast and dinners were plentiful and served in the spacious dining room. All in all a sublime, tranquil break away from it all.

So pleased we went here. The service is outstanding – all smiles, all very helpful. Bed firm and very comfortable indeed. The view out to the gardens and valley was beautiful. I listened to the trees, owls and sheep as I went to sleep, and woke to the dawn chorus.

The hotel was very quiet and pleasant, clean and tidy throughout with a tasty vegetarian breakfast too. Staff were very friendly. It was particularly great for us to have the electric car charging option, in an area which generally has very limited charging stations.
